SIK has many years of working experience in Africa. Traditionally SIK’s researches have worked in the French speaking parts of Africa, especially Madagascar, Cameroon, Mali and DR Congo, but SIK has also done commissioned work in South Africa, Ethiopia and in other parts of Africa.

SIK also has projects in Latin-America and in South-East Asia.

Lecturing, giving courses and research related to intercultural communication and the multicultural Norway constitutes a major part of SIK’s portfolio.
