Completed research stay abroad for Phd fellow at SIK

International experience: SIK researcher and PhD candidate within the FAMAC project, Oleksandr Ryndyk, has just returned from a 3-month research stay at Malmö Institute for Studies of Migration, Diversity and Welfare (MIM) in Malmö, Sweden.

At MIM, Ryndyk has participated in a weekly seminar on migration, and has worked actively with his PhD thesis. "It was an inspiring and very useful experience for me. I hope that there will be more cooperation between SIK/VID and MIM in the future," he says. Malmö Institute for Studies of Migration, Diversity and Welfare (MIM) at the University of Malmö is SIK's partner in the FAMAC project, funded by the Research Council of Norway.
